Last year my yard looked great. I don’t know what happened over the winter – especially since it was a very mild winter – but the grass is just not growing as thick and full as it should. There are a lot of weeds and barespots in the front yard and it is very discouraging. My neighbors don’t do much to their own yards except pay for the weekly mowing from a local company. But I cut my own grass and use fertilizer, weed killer and new seed every spring.
I follow the instruction on the packages and make sure I water the yard or withhold water, as the case may be, to try for maximum results. But I’m not happy with the lawn this spring. Might go ahead and buy some more weed killer and get rid of that crabgrass to see if that is holding back the good grass that I want for my yard.
