We went to a fun hockey game last night, the Predators played the Red Wings and we had a blast. We really like the people in our section and can not wait to get back to the next hockey game. We do not go to every game like we used to and I really miss it a bunch. We will be splitting a pair of seats with three other couples next year and that will give us more games than we have went to this last year. After three years of season tickets it is a tough thing to sit at home when you know a home game is going on across town.

Tonight is Italian night we will be having pasta and Italian bread, I really am trying to lose weight but on my days off I like to have some of my wife’s great cooking. I have been snacking on fresh fruit all day trying to stay away from the good fattening stuff today since I knew we will be having great food tonight. On other Italian nights we have had lasagna and spaghetti, it will be a nice change to get some different pasta tonight. I can not wait for supper time tonight.

My wonderful wifes birthday is today and I am nor sure what to give her. I need some help picking out the perfect gift. The boys and I are taking her out to dinner tonight so i have until then to find the perfect gift for her birthday. Last year I got her a new digital camera, and she has not even opened the box yet. She is very hard to buy gifts for, she is very picky. Makes me wonder how she picked me.

On my way home from work this morning I watched in amazement as two red cars pulled one of the biggest stupid people tricks I have ever seen. They were racing down Interstate 65 at over 100 mph with one cop car in pursuit it was amazing that they did not kill themselves or anyone else for that matter. I guess they got away since I did not hear anything on TV about it. Reaffirms my belief that red cars are for the simple minded to drive and it warns the rest of us that they are coming at us.

In a couple of weeks my grandson will be on spring break from the first grade and he wants to go to the Atlanta Aquarium and I think that would be a grand idea. We have taken him to the aquarium in Chattanooga and he loved it. The next step up is the huge aquarium in Atlanta and it is still close enough to make a day trip out of it. I can not wait to get to the aquarium to see all of the sights that they have there I really want to see the Beluga Whales, they are one of the exhibits that I will look forward to seeing when we get there, it will be a very fun trip for us all.
