We had a very nice Christmas, slept in late because we had to deliver the paper Christmas morning. Then we had a nice brunch and just lounged arounf until we went over to pick up my grandson David so he could open his presents that we got for him. After that we went over to the wifes sons house for Christmas dinner it was very nice he grilled steaks and then after we opened presents we played a game on his Play Station 3, it was a trivia game and a lot of fun to play. Then it was time for us to get back home and do our route sheets, then collapse back into bed we had to go to work in a few hours. A very nice day all around for us.

December has always been a huge month for me, I love having family over for the holidays and for some that means that I have a whole year where I do not need to see them at all. That is until next Christmas, I have one Uncle who eats for a while then unbuttons his pants and eats some more, it is pretty disgusting to say the least. One Aunt who kisses all the boys and makes them scream and run off wiping their faces off. You know I really do love my family but we make the Beverly Hillbillies seem normal at times.

I have been doing a lot of thinking since the election and I think the new administration will be a plus for a short time and then as our enemies seek out the weakness of the new President we will be in the same boat we are in now and I do not see a good way out of it at all.
We have a couple of friends who have moved to Mexico and built them a mansion on a hill. That does not sound too bad when we are ready to retire and that is not that far off. I can not wait to sit on a beach and drink fruity drinks with umbrellas in them. The one thing I am not sure of………are there places to go fishing in Mexico? If not ,we will have to make another choice.

After looking for a new boat for a couple of years we have finally found what we wanted, we bought a 20 foot ski boat and it will work perfect for what we both want. I want a good fishing boat that can be used to pull skiers and she wants a good ski boat that can be used for fishing when she is not along for the ride. I can not wait to put her in the water in the spring it will make my days off go much faster and a lot more enjoyable.
