The weather has taken a turn towards winter it seems. The high today will not get out of the 30’s and the wind is howling out there right now. I do not mind the cold weather, but you throw in a frigid north wind and it makes it pretty tough out there. I have to work tonight and it will be colder and the wind will still be blowing – maybe a good day to call in sick and stay home in the bed. Wait! I am the boss and that would not look good, so off to work I go. How much longer is it until spring gets here?

This weekend the Tennessee Titans play the New York Jets at LP Field, this is the game the Titans have to win to make a run at an undefeated record. They have a couple of really hard games at the end of the schedule and they must get by the Jets this week to have any chance at all. Brett Farve is a very good quarterback and if he shows up with his A game it will be very tough to get this game into the win column. Lets go Titans kick the New York Jets all the way back to New Jersey.

On Monday there is no school so we are going to take my Grandson to the aquarium in Chattanooga. It will be a great day trip for us, we have not been anywhere fun in a very long time and this trip is way over due. David has never been to an aquarium and for that matter neither have I. This will be a trip that we both can enjoy and have very fond memories of for a very long time. I can not wait for Monday to get here I as excited as a school boy and his first trip with his class.

The Tennessee Titans have won their first 10 games and are the only unbeaten team left in the National Football League. This weekend they play the New York Jets and we got tickets to go, but it looks like it is going to be very cold and the wife does not like cold at all, our house heater is set on 80 most of the winter and she still walks around with a coat on. Thin blooded I guess. I like it a bit cool it makes for better sleeping if it is not so hot you could cook chickens in the house. Go Titans!

Today the weather is very damp and cold, I think that old man winter is headed our way very early this year. I work out in the weather so I am not a huge fan of cold wet weather, I like spring time and when the weather starts to get warm and the trees are budding out, now that is the very best time of year for me and I wish every day was like those couple of months when the winter is fading away and spring is getting her foot hold on the world. Now that is my glance of perfect.
