Tonight my wife out did herself, she made homemade meatballs and man did they ever taste good. I know she used ground beef and pork because I bought it at the store this afternoon, but I have no idea what else she puts in her meatballs, it must be a deep dark family secret because she is not letting the cat out of the bag at all. I know I am one very lucky man, she is the best cook in the world and she loves me what else could I ask for?

Tonight is Italian night we will be having pasta and Italian bread, I really am trying to lose weight but on my days off I like to have some of my wife’s great cooking. I have been snacking on fresh fruit all day trying to stay away from the good fattening stuff today since I knew we will be having great food tonight. On other Italian nights we have had lasagna and spaghetti, it will be a nice change to get some different pasta tonight. I can not wait for supper time tonight.

A buddy that I work with gave me a very nice venison roast last night and some ground venison to make some deer chili with. It has been a very long time since I had any venison and I can not wait to get the great taste of fresh venison again. Thanks James Eddie the deer meat will be a fine addition to our January table, I can not wait for the treat to be served.
